Staying Afloat Through Postpartum Extremes with Amy Troyer-Karas
Staying Afloat Through Postpartum Extremes with Amy Troyer-Karas
August 16, 2025 10:30 am - 11:30 am
Join local author, mother and psychiatric survivor Amy Troyer-Karas as she shares from her recently published writing, Stormy Waters. Bringing new life into the world is an incredible journey, and for some this includes intense and unusual experiences that defy understanding. It is incredibly rare to find supports for these kinds of experiences that do not start with an assumption of pathology or illness. This booklet serves as a compassionate guidebook for anyone in the midst of emotional, mental or spiritual crisis after giving birth. It also includes a section especially for family members and loved ones.
